The
Blue Ridge Foothills District represents over 600 Water Environment
Professionals that provide and protect the water supplies and
environment of the Foothills region of South Carolina.
Originally named the "Northwest District #1",
the Blue Ridge Foothills District was founded in 1962 as part of the Water and Pollution
Control Association of South Carolina.
Today, the Blue Ridge Foothills District of the Water Environment
Association of South Carolina supports the Upstate's Water
Environment Professionals living and working in Anderson,
Greenville, Oconee, Pickens and Spartanburg counties of South
Carolina.


- Founded 1962 as the "Northwest District #1" of the Water and
Pollution Control Association of South Carolina.
- Constitutions and By-Laws for the District were approved on May 21, 1962.
